WELCOME TO THE TEAM

WELCOME TO THE TEAM

Welcome to HG Lead The Way

You're here for a reason.

Maybe you're chasing something most people don't understand. A standard that doesn't have a finish line. A version of yourself that demands more than what's comfortable. Or maybe you just refuse to settle, for an average career, an average effort, an average life,  and you're looking for a space that doesn't ask you to tone it down.

Whatever brought you here, welcome. You're in the right place.

Who I Am

I'm Hailey. West Point graduate. Ten year Army veteran. The 102nd woman to graduate Ranger School and the 7th woman selected for service in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Ultramarathon runner. Strength athlete. And someone who has spent her entire adult life learning what it means to lead, not from a textbook, but the moments that test everything you think you know about yourself.

I built HG Lead The Way because I believe the principles that shaped me in the military, discipline, authenticity, grit, earned confidence, aren't locked behind a gate. They belong to anyone willing to do the work. I wanted to create a space where that work is documented honestly. No highlight reel. No shortcuts. Just the real process of becoming someone you're proud of.

What You'll Find Here

HG LTW lives at the intersection of leadership and endurance. Through training logs, race recaps, leadership reflections, and honest conversations about life after the military, I share what most people don't post,  the early mornings, the hard miles, the setbacks, the growth, and the quiet work no one sees.

How I Can Help

If you're a veteran navigating life after the military, I've been there. The identity shift, the depression, the search for purpose, the challenge of translating everything you learned in uniform into a civilian world that doesn't always speak the same language. I write about that transition honestly, and I'm building resources to help make it less lonely.

If you're an athlete chasing something bigger, your first ultra, a new PR, a training block that actually sticks, I share what I've learned through years of pushing my own limits. Not as a coach with all the answers, but as someone still in the arena, figuring it out in real time.

If you're a leader at any level, in your career, your family, your community, and you want to lead with more intention and authenticity, that's the heartbeat of everything I do here. Leadership isn't a title. It's a choice you make every single day.

And if you're someone who's been told you're too much, too intense, too ambitious, too driven, and you're looking for a place that says keep going instead of calm down, this is your home.

What Drives All of This

There's an undercurrent behind everything I do.

Prove them wrong.

Prove wrong the people who underestimated you. Prove wrong the voice that says you're not ready. Prove wrong the narrative that says you have to fit someone else's mold to matter.

Not with words. With work. With the kind of quiet, daily discipline that compounds into something undeniable.

That's what Lead The Way means. It's not a slogan. It's a standard. And it starts with being unapologetically you.

Welcome. Now let's get to work.

Lead The Way.
